WildCats Conservation Alliance
Since 2019, we have supported conservation activities in Kerinci Seblat National Park through the British WildCats Conservation Alliance. Our collaboration took place from 2022 to 2024.
Way Kambas National Park & PKHS
In 2025, a visit to the Indonesian island of Sumatra brought an opportunity to collaborate with PKHS, operating in Way Kambas National Park. We saw the fieldwork and monitoring firsthand. We saw the excellent work they do, often with minimal financial resources. We met a group of amazing dedicated people and promised them financial and material support in the future.
The Kukang Rescue Program
We also built upon previously established contact with The Kukang Rescue Program. In the area of their work in northern Sumatra, besides the primates they protect, tigers are also found. Therefore, our activities in the north have now deepened.
In 2025, using a grant from the Czech Ministry of the Environment and support from Zoo Hodonin, we purchased 35 camera traps. We purchased another 10 camera traps from our own funds. We will use them together with colleagues from Kukang in the north and with colleagues in Way Kambas for monitoring and biodiversity assessment, as well as a key anti-poaching activity.
Czech Republic
In addition to helping nature abroad, we would also like to focus on our local nature. Specifically, we chose the Pasicka Rescue Station and Ecocenter, operating in the Pardubice Region, as our partner organization.
This facility primarily serves to rescue wild species and their subsequent return to the wild. The station achieves this on average for 78% of admitted individuals, though like many other conservation organizations, it primarily struggles with a lack of financial resources.
