Return to Sumatra
We are revisiting Sumatra -- monitoring, handing over camera traps, and developing further cooperation.
Indonesia, new partnerships and camera traps
The founder travels to Indonesia to gain support. He visits Way Kambas NP and arranges future cooperation with a ranger from the PKHS tiger section. We also begin collaboration with The Kukang Rescue Program in northern Sumatra. We organize Run for Tigers with KU and Run for Tigers at Zoo Hodonin -- both proceeds are sent to colleagues at PKHS in Way Kambas. We obtain a grant and purchase 41 camera traps for monitoring.
Fundraising events and WildCats support
We organize fundraising events -- traditionally Run for Tigers, but also International Tiger Day, public lectures, school and educational programs. By the end of 2024, we send WildCats a total of 949 EUR.
Change of direction -- WildCats support
The war in Ukraine ends our communication and support for Russia's Far East. We organize the first event to support WildCats Conservation Alliance at Hard Rock Cafe Prague.
Most successful year
From Run for Tigers and the ClubHouse evening, we send record support of 600,000 CZK. With this amount, we contribute to every tiger getting a chance to return to the wild. In total, we send 40,000 USD in support.
Beginning of collaboration and first Run for Tigers
We begin collaboration with the rescue center in Russian Aleksejevka. First hosting of the now traditional Run for Tigers and International Tiger Day.
Internship in the Far East
Internship at a rescue station in the Far East that launched the entire Altaica project.
